Deacon's Corner

May is a great time for our parish to welcome new Spring growth.  Bishop Ohl will be here to confirm members to our parish family.  We need to celebrate the dedication of these new members.  To commit to Christ in the church is a wonderful part of the path in Christian Ministry.

All persons who find their faith in Christ are ministers of God's teaching.  As ministers of Christ's teachings we must share our spiritual discoveries with others.  Invite your friends and neighbors to church.  The average number of times to ask a person is 7 times before they accept and come to church.  Do not let them sit home alone, go and pick them up, offer them a ride.  Going with someone is easier than coming by themselves.  Put your ministry into action, share your treasure of Sr. Matthews; bring a friend.  The music is inspiring, the worship is spiritual and Mother Linda's sermons are thought provoking.
